Pitt is told that a field doctor came back infected. He asked where the records were showing where the doctor had gone, I think, and was directed to what appeared to be some file cabinets that were blown to pieces. At that point, he gives up the patient zero search.

I guess the argument is if the infected body part gets cuts off before blood circulating through it can infect the rest of the body, the infection stops. Pitt patching up her severed arm without any formal medical training was pure poppycock, though (Walking Dead introduced us to the idea of chopping off infected body parts before people zombify, I think).

I guess we're supposed to assume that he climbed up the landing gear. That doesn't explain how he got an elevator to work to take him from the cargo hold to the passenger area. Biggest plot hole in the film.

They also forgot to have Pitt or his lady friend use the oxygen masks when the air was sucking out of the plane. How could they breathe without them? Sigh.
