but since I found his character (and most around him) extremely unlikeable it was hard for me to fully get into the movie. The ending somewhat made up for it but even that felt a little preachy and not completely organic.
Kelly Reilly's character was fully expendable, although she did serve a purpose in what I thought was the movie's best scene when James Badge Dale turned up as the cancer patient in the stairs. He just had a few minutes of screen time but I thought it was some of the best acting I saw this year.
The whole sequence leading up to the crash was really thrilling, it reminded me to a certain extent of the thrill of a similar scene in United 93, although not quite as raw.

So yeah, a decent movie overall but I don't feel like it will stay with me too long.
