Again... I like him. A lot. But to answer you question, he doesn't have to leave me in awe. He can keep doing what he's doing and be like Eastwood and make B+/A- films. I'm cool with that. He doesn't *have* to do more. I only want him to do more because I think he's got a great eye for picking projects. He gets great performances from his actors. But he's always one step away from really creating something more than a "really good movie." Again... he doesn't have to. I enjoy what he's doing now. I'm just saying he has the pedigree to be better.
