You've named a couple of actors who Hollywood has pushed but who have not proven to be bankable leading men.

You've then also pointed out that many "tough guys" are foreigners and, as I've stated, that has more to do with casting than the direction of this nation.

So far, OE's argument is that there aren't a lot of black leading men and even though one of the two preeminent leading men came up as an effeminate pretty boy he was funny so that doesn't count (which would then discount Johnny Depp whose leap to the A-list was the comical Jack Sparrow). So basically because Hollywood has tried and failed to make Orlando Bloom, Jake Gylenhall, Colin Farrell, etc. into bankable leading men and failed, then white people love effeminate leading men.
