Fucked around with her on some fling shit, then dumped her when he was done. I say it stands up.
The only thing that would POSSIBLY hurt is Crowe's affinity for poetry. But a) I know lots of spoken word dudes that are gully, b) his affinity for poetry has lead to violence. Once, after receiving an acting award at some British Awards show, he got up on stage (obviously drunk) and started quoting Kipling. The producer cut him off mid-speech, so Crowe sought him out and slapped him around. That's sorta bad-ass.
