Funny People -

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. The Ira-George stuff before going to Laura's house was great. The George-Laura stuff was ineffectual. Apatow hasn't improved his editing (and I'm not talking about the running time which I don't have a problem with in and of itself). I also think he's trying too hard to do what I think he thinks is cinematic (e.g., the crane (?)-track out at the end; high angles).


The Cove -

Intriguing story. Didn't like the filmmaking (e.g., the music).
