Erykah, Nas and the Roots, Miguel, Jhene Aiko, The Internet, Fly Lo, Kamasi Washington, The Free Nationals, Muziq, Talib, Dead Prez, Macy Grey, india.arie, Slum Village, Little Dragon, Sir, Hiatus Kaiote, and more
Granted this lineup would be much better in 2002 than 2022, but it's a great collection of artists.
What do you think?

I'd definitely go. NO BRAINER in 2019.

3035720, RE: i really want to go Posted by spidey, Fri Dec-03-21 03:23 PM
...Slum Village! Hilarious yet sad, killing that almost legendary name...

3035692, Best lineup I’ve seen in a long time Posted by makaveli, Thu Dec-02-21 02:53 PM
Wish they would do one of the east coast.

3035694, oh sh*t Posted by Crash Bandacoot, Thu Dec-02-21 03:28 PM

3035696, I'm in Phoenix but will try to mess with this Posted by Ishwip, Thu Dec-02-21 05:09 PM
Erykah, Nas, the Roots, The Internet, Fly Lo, Kamasi Washington, The Free Nationals, Talib, I've seen before but....
----->Hiatus Kaiyote I've desperately wanted to check off my list since they debuted.........like, it's become a consistent point of annoyance that I haven't had the opportunity haha. Hopefully we can get tickets, I feel like everything is ruined now by bots/scalpers.
__ I don't like the beat anymore because its just a loop. ALC didn't FLIP IT ENOUGH!
Flip it enough? Flip these. Flip off. Go flip some f*cking burgers.(c)Kno

3035709, not sure how Posted by Crash Bandacoot, Fri Dec-03-21 12:44 PM
they're going to cram 30+ acts in a day. artists probably starving because if covid, hence the ticket pricing.
|
3035718, multiple simultaneous stages Im sure Posted by atruhead, Fri Dec-03-21 02:50 PM

3035722, Bought a ticket but Posted by Ryan M, Fri Dec-03-21 07:03 PM
I’m quite skeptical of these pop up festivals.
Going to Once Upon a Time in LA in a couple weeks so we’ll see I guess.

3035740, i've seen a festival before at the park Posted by blackfoot_female, Sat Dec-04-21 09:31 PM
it was a great experience. the park is easy to get to, large enough there should be some pockets of space, and has great views of mountains and dtla.
|
3035737, How would it be better in 2002? Posted by blackfoot_female, Sat Dec-04-21 09:08 PM
Hiatus Kaiyote and Kamasi didn't even exist, and almost every act has released great works since then.
|
3035738, The park is a GREAT venue Posted by blackfoot_female, Sat Dec-04-21 09:08 PM
easy to get to via the train, and lots of space. i got my GA ticket. I'll be chilling towards the back.
