It's taken 12 years and most artists that announce something like this, scrap the idea half way through, if not earlier. So kudos to Maxwell for following through. And I'm glad he's still around.

But this first single isn't doing much for me at first listen? And although I liked the second part a fair amount, it wasn't nearly as seminal as part one -- so I'm keeping expectations pretty level for this so as to be pleasantly surprised.

Second part was heat imho. It took me a bit to get into but damn. Lake, All The Ways.., 1990, Gods..man.

This year has been full of people who had to wait because of COVID or those who caught a vibe because of lockdown.
2022 is gonna be the year a lot of people that sit for years will come out IMO.
