You're right that The Roots were the superior act, even in The Fugees heyday. All I meant to say is that after I read the above poster's comment, I realized that the difference between the two was narrower than I first realized.

In the end, The Roots live show is better than The Fugees, while The Fugees Crew have bigger hits than The Roots. It would be interesting to see a Verzus between them, I think many people prefer The Fugees to The Roots.

But that's just me and like I said I don't have a clear idea of who the audience is, so I'm likely wrong.
