https://wutangbook.com/2021/08/25/mickey-factz-apologizes-to-shyheim-and-killarmy-for-dissing-them/

Now he wants to apologize?

And what was wrong with Nore? His whole show is supposed to
Be dedicated to respecting rap veterans? Shameful.

3034164, Wu affiliate fans be the silent majority
Posted by FunkyBoss, Wed Aug-25-21 09:57 AM
I had no idea that many people enjoyed them. They coming out the woods to back up shyheim and the rest of them. Some even silly enough to call them legends lol but still. Some of it is obviously just people who hate nore but the overwhelming majority seems like true fans
3034165, Wu-Tang season 2 starts 9.8

3034182, I’ve never really been into him
Posted by DJR, Wed Aug-25-21 09:54 PM
This isn’t Silk the Shocker talking shit or something - that’s all I’m saying.

From what I’ve heard, he’s “ok”.

3034193, Only thing I can even remember with him on it is '"It Ain't My Fault"...
Posted by mrhood75, Thu Aug-26-21 01:34 PM
...by Smoke DZA. Which I liked a lot, but mostly because of DZA's verses.
3034175, Flunkies is a bad word choice, for sure.
Posted by JFrost1117, Wed Aug-25-21 04:33 PM
But, people are going to bat for the clearly-not-as-known-as-the-main-nine-members like they’re a part of the daily hip-hop conversation. Some of those dudes I haven’t heard about since I stopped reading XXL and The Source.
3034236, If you’re interviewing Mickey Factz....
Posted by spirit, Sat Aug-28-21 11:20 PM
....you’re talking to someone less known than Shyheim and Killah Priest* so that argument dies on its own in this context.

Priest accepted Nore’s apology, which is....diplomatic, considering that there is no way to interpret what Nore said on a respectful way. This wasn’t a slip of the tongue, it was clearly what he actually believed.

* who Nore involved by saying Suns of Man were “flunkies” and “n——s who didn’t exist”

3034181, It's Been A Silent Beef Between WTC Members Vs. Wu-Affiliates
Posted by Dj Joey Joe, Wed Aug-25-21 09:31 PM
...for mad years, cause even though each Wu-Tang Clan member have their own crew/circle, most of them have felt for years that RZA has had given too many artists the freedom to be a Wu-Affiliate when some aren't looked at the same way by the other eight members.

I remember in a video/interview Method Man had about that infamous/mysterious "Once Upon A Time In Shaolin" album, he said he don't know or fuck with RZA's erron boy Cilvaringz, and the only affiliates he associate with is Killarmy, Sunz Of Man, and of course his homie Streetlife.

We know about Ghostface's crew Theordore Unit (which Cappadonna & Trife are apart of), and then Raekwon's American Cream Team that changed to Ice Water, Inspectah Deck is doing music with 7L & Esoteric as Czarface, U-God has the Hillside Scramblers (which King Just is apart of).

Shyheim is Ghostface's cousin and Shyheim is down with GP-Wu even though in recent years they have been trying to tell people that they aren't not really wu-affiliates but just happen to be from the same town, got wu in their name, and have close ties with Wu-Tang Clan members...uummm okay, whatever is clever, (I think Pop The Brown Hornet always had a chip on his shoulder about Wu-Tang getting popular before his crew).

Basically some people see these wu-affiliates as flunkies while some see a few of the artists and/or groups as decent acts that keep the Wu-Tang sound going; to me the stuff Mathematics, Royal Fam, Shabazz The Disciple, Black Market Militia, Buddha Monk (Brooklyn Zoo), JoJo Pellegrino, & etc.

I heard the audio where Shyheim said his albums were better than Nore's well I will say Noreaga's first album was dope and the first CNN album is a classic but Shy's first two albums were dope as well, but personally I think both artists are in two different lanes and Mickey Factz not liking some of the wu-affiliates is just him, it's not like it has to be written in stone that just cause they are affiliates that we must respect them like the main group WTC.

3034183, All I’m here to say is…
Posted by Anonymous, Wed Aug-25-21 11:22 PM
I just rocked that Heist Of The Century this past weekend and that shit is a fucking classic!

Definitely better than any solo Nore album.

Heavy Mental, The Pillage, Wu-Syndicate, QWFSW, The Lost Generation… these are ALL dope albums.

And Shyheim had the first Wu solo album as far as I’m concerned.
3034192, Also… Mickey Facts is wack as shit

3034228, Heist of the Century

Caught me so off guard when it dropped.
It’s def an underground classic IMO

Also

Killa Sin was incredibly dope
3034194, A pattern is emerging..

Mickey has a knack for getting caught up/inserting himself in beefs. Don't know if that's intentional or if he's just a sucka who does and says corny stuff..

Raekwon vs. Joe Budden

Royce vs. Lupe

Drink Champs vs. Wu Tang Killa Beez

Then afterwards, he has this nice guy apology thing going.. that's not really an apology, more of an excuse.. I dunno..

At this point, he's just corny, I think.
3034232, U-god dissed all the wu tang affiliates on vlad two years ago
Posted by javi222, Sat Aug-28-21 09:13 AM
to my recollection, no one cared
3034233, Yeah I saw that and made a post about it
Posted by Anonymous, Sat Aug-28-21 10:09 AM
That was wack on his part too.

Majority of those albums are way better than his solo.

I get his frustration but he came off salty.
3034235, bc its u god....his voice doesnt have the same weight nores does
Posted by guru0509, Sat Aug-28-21 04:07 PM
although i have never ever listened to an episode of drink champs

his voice is annoying as hell sober, i cant imagine having to listen to him when hes drunk.

>to my recollection, no one cared
3034238, Now Shyheim (standing next to Ghost) is going at Killah Priest
Posted by Anonymous, Sun Aug-29-21 12:58 PM
SMH
3034240, Priest responded, sort of, but didn’t address the issue (or Ghost)
Posted by spirit, Sun Aug-29-21 02:56 PM
Shyheim said Priest made a “deal on the side” (whatever that means). Priest responded that Shyheim was too old to take matters to the street (whatever that means) but never addressed the underlying accusation. Usually the innocent lead with a denial, so no idea what’s going on here at all. Also since Priest is likely older than Shyheim, I’m perplexed about why he’s bringing age into the discussion at all.

Seems like all of this could have been avoided with a face to face conversation between Shyheim and Priest but whatever.

3034246, I don't like how Shyheim is moving he's gotta grow up a little

>SMH

Nore and crew said some dumb ass shit but now we are probably going to get a few Wu Killah Beez episodes on Drink Champs.

Ghost and Priest seem to have a good relationship. I don't know if Ghost knew who Shyheim was referring to.
