Their collabs come off as trying too hard to be “epic” or “important”. They need a basic, stripped down Premo banger and to bring the best rappity raps they got to get love on a collab IMO.

And honestly not just because that’s what I prefer but I think it makes sense for a collab of that status to go the opposite route of what people would expect.
People hear Nas and Jay and think epic shit so it seems like they and the producer are trying to match that.
They need to just do the sneak attack of some low key stripped down hip-hop back to the essence shit. That’s what will make the majority go crazy.

After I heard "Venom" I went through her catalog (and watched her Tiny Desk, smh) and bought all that I could on wax.
Then looked and saw that she had played a show in Atlanta like..two weeks prior.

When I moved back to Chicago I found out that Coultrain had a residency...A RESIDENCY at this art spot blocks from my new house. When did it end? One week prior to me moving in.
