A few things right out the gate:

* new single from Jessie Ware, "Please"

This is in advance of a deluxe edition of What's Your Pleasure. I get tired of deluxe editions and they are all the rage right now (somewhat understandably in the age of COVID) BUT her deluxe extra tracks are often really, really good so I'm really not complaining.

* Alchemist - This Thing of Ours EP feat Earl, Navy Blue, Pink Siifu, and others

* new single from Skyzoo, "Bed-stuy is burning" in advance of his upcoming album All the Brilliant Things

I think Flying Lotus has something new out. Lots of other more random stuff out there.

I know it's not a "new release" but I wanted to share what I copped.

Plus, I got a TON of music I really need to spend time with anyway.

That was a great record -- thanks for highlighting it last year, probably wouldn't have known about it otherwise. I think he has a new single out: "Snow Child" -- haven't checked it yet but it's def on Spotify.

I've been enjoying "3" by Maiya Blaney (new name to me)

and the new Dawn Richard is on the to-listen-to list as well... she deserves more attention than she gets.

doing errands, and really gave me a chance to enjoy the Dawn Richard album, which didn't get justice on the PC setup. Really solid work. Hope she gets her flowers this time around.

She shoulda got a Grammy for Blackheart, real talk... Anything after that is just making up for lost ground...

That song is so catchy, I want a remix with De La Soul or Freddie Gibbs...or both lol. From there it was pretty good.

Good looking out on this one. I loved it on first listen. I think it will hold up too. Definitely recommend checking this one out.
