Don't think DJR meant anything malicious or sarcastic by phrasing it that way.

I don't think I've listened to that project as much as I should.
3031965, i was going to wait until friday for this
Posted by mista k5, Tue Apr-20-21 01:19 PM
these features make me want to listen to it now. might not get to it until tomorrow but im definitely interested.
3031969, Early favorites: Delta 9, Mr. Big Mouf II, The Return
Posted by DJR, Tue Apr-20-21 03:07 PM
Love that stretch of the album. Like this a lot overall. I love the interlude beats at the ends of the tracks too. Always a nice tough when done well.
3031974, The Return might be my favorite
Posted by mista k5, Tue Apr-20-21 05:48 PM
3031976, Yeah that one is just raw
Posted by DJR, Tue Apr-20-21 05:54 PM
Sean Boog has been spitting since he started rapping again. That EP he put out last year was nice.

3032495, weeks later, same conclusion : this section of the album is flawless
Posted by DJR, Wed May-19-21 09:29 PM
That interlude at the end of Delta 9....smh. Right into Mr. Big Mouf and then The Return? That stretch is heaven on the ears.

Why? really grew on me too, and then Asylum?? Man.

Album is very good overall. I like Khrysis on the mic here, so minor complaint is I wish he rapped on more songs.

The end of the album is crazy too. Negro Spiritual(that track is something else) to The Disrespect to Keep Walking On to Be Alright. He put work into this album.
3031972, I'ma wait for a vinyl release.
Posted by LeroyBumpkin, Tue Apr-20-21 05:17 PM
Didn't know this was on Jamala.
3032298, Same Here, I Still Buy Vinyl As Well
Posted by Dj Joey Joe, Wed May-05-21 12:54 AM
I'm just surprised this isn't even on CD yet.

3031975, pretty good
Posted by mista k5, Tue Apr-20-21 05:50 PM
These are going into rotation:
Mr Big Mouf Pt II
The Return
Columbian Necktie
Negro Spiritual
The Disrespect
Keep Walkin On
Be Alright (Bonus)

Whole album is worth at least another listen though.
3031980, All those + Never Change, Delta 9, and Asylum for me
Posted by DJR, Tue Apr-20-21 09:29 PM
Wish Asylum was longer though.

Columbian Necktie for the beat, the rapping didn’t really do it for me there though. The Code was cool too. I like this a lot. Knew I would - Khrysis production is a can’t miss, and the features are strong.
3031984, Negro Spiritual is so crazy
Posted by Sleepy, Tue Apr-20-21 11:36 PM
I mean, that beat is so insane. Monch and Busta did their thing. This album is one of the best I've heard in awhile.
3031990, Does Khrysis rap ? I've really only ever known him as a producer.
Posted by Brew, Wed Apr-21-21 10:11 AM
Wondering if this is just a compilation on his beats.

Excited to hear it either way, considering the features and how much I've loved his beats previously. And everyone raving about it in here of course.
3031992, he spit a verse on Jericho Jackson
Posted by Stadiq, Wed Apr-21-21 11:06 AM
3031993, Oh yea that's right. Forgot about that.
Posted by Brew, Wed Apr-21-21 11:18 AM
3031994, he raps on some of the songs
Posted by DJR, Wed Apr-21-21 11:30 AM
He started rapping a little bit on the last Away Team album(2011 I think), and he had a verse or two Median’s The Sender album that year too so he’s done it on occasion.
3032281, Chi Ali???
Posted by blackfoot_female, Mon May-03-21 07:57 PM
Wow. Haven't seen him on a track since the 90's
3037404, Vinyl/CD/Cassette release!
