...with "Lemon" pretty much every Machine album is gonna be hyped for me.

That said, I hope we get the Shady album soon.....I really wanna hear the record Conway has with Drake (Benny has one too).

Plus some more Hall n Nash would be welcome too
3031884, of course he does

Why wouldn't he try to hop on this wave?

And L O L at these dudes letting it happen. Nothing says "new, grimy, real hip hop" like Drake

I don't get it. At all.

These dudes aren't doing anything that hasn't already been done and much better.

Hell, a lot of current dudes are at least as good -if not better- and in the same lane. From Boldly to Hus Kingpin to Mayhem Lauren to Rome Streetz to Bloo to Stove God etc

But these dudes have mastered the art of riding a connection + gimmicks + building undeserving hype.

The return of grimy east coast rap...Doing joints with Drake...bwahahahaha

This is surprisingly modern for them. And by “modern” I mean 2009 lil Wayne. Good shit though

i was trying to think of the sounds this album was evoking and couldn't come up with much other than "slightly anachronistic." it's definitely (and weirdly imo) rooted in a late 2000s sound
3031877, I’m still playing From King to a God regularly

Arguably the best album of 2020, and that came out like 7 months ago. I’m honestly not even ready for a new one yet.

I think it’s the most complete, cohesive, “full” project that Griselda has done. He really went for a classic album and it may reach that status.

Benny is my favorite though

not a fan of many of the instrumentals so i'm disinclined to revisit it. he still has bars. he still has long form patterns and endless compound rhymes. still has the best basketball similes and metaphors in the game right now and maybe ever. there is something slightly awkward in his delivery and flow on a few of these songs. i think he's trying to move away from "the conway flow." sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. he has a line about establishing a new powerhouse record label on one of the songs which explains the jae skeese features. the tracks i most enjoyed listening to were "200 pies," "had to hustle," and "s.e. gang"
