This is one of those classic joints that should have been shelved when it was originally created, especially when the artist/producer (Pete Rock) was at the top of his field at the time, I still wonder why Elektra Records decided the INI album wasn't good enough to be released, even though Pete & Marley Marl said the album got leaked bootlegged overseas a few months after he gave the label the masters to the album.

I also wonder why Pete felt the need to take all the interludes off the album but tack on those Rob-O solo joints on the re-release; but at least we also got that solo Deda Baby Pa unreleased album as a bonus; just wish Pete would release the solo Maccalicious solo album he produced back then as well.
