I just recently noticed that De La's albums (with the exception of Buhloone) are on YouTube music.

Is De La still asking for the boycott, or have they reach an agreement with Tommy Boy. I don't want to stream them if they are still in a dispute.

i wanted to post about it but also didnt want to promote it if they hadn't agreed to it. im guessing we would know if they were okay with it.

I get what you are saying. I play my De La off my home server. I don't know how much we are going to hear when they do reach an agreement. I would hope that it we get as much promotion as the dispute did, but you never know.

last they told us was to not press play on any streams that pop up until they say otherwise. theyre somewhat active on social media so we would hear something from them at minimum i figure.

Or wherever. The DLS guys that is. They are usually providing updates whenever there are any. So you'll know when an agreement is reached.

Plus I assume/hope platforms like Spotify would promote it to you based on your listening habits, etc.

IIRC. The boards were gushing over it. For a while I was on some kind of email list too. I kicked in a donation for a new album and I got a De La keychain or something like that.

...by reissuing his album against his wishes ..wouldn't be surprised they did the same with De La
