I half jest but..
A staged death would be sooo in line with the character. shid, he's faked appearing at shows before.
He could return a few yrs from now under a new alias like he did in 99. I imagine him hiding out somewhere watching the world finally give him his flowers in memoriam.
hell, even if he were alive who would recognize him unmasked except his fam & close friends?? If that!
Or at the least, this is my hope :(
