Skeler is an electronic artist who does Hardwave music. It's a type of EDM that keeps the tempo high....but also keeps a groove to it, it doesn't explode with a drop.

-Chvrches (hopefully with a less 80s sound)

Jessie Ware - What's Your Pleasure (Sexy, danceable but still sounds great in headphones, only disservice was dropping single so early that the LP didn't impact they way it should've)

08. WHAT NEW GENRE DID YOU EXPLORE THIS YEAR?

The aforementioned Hardwave and more Brazilian jazz, which I'm kinda surprised doesn't get sampled in more rap songs.
