...but I skimmed through the song titles this morning and saw #AlmightyBlackDollar F/ Rick Ross and gave it a spend. I was quite surprised.

I hope this catches on. I'm not confident at all it will, but i'm here for it.

Your loss. He has one of the best catalogs. The new one is dope and he stepped up his rapping
3028674, yeah. his 2005-2008 run was something.

mixtapes included.

The Inspiration is my favorite of them all; it felt like his best sequenced and most cohesive album (although you can't go wrong with any of his three studio releases in that span).

Jeezy had a serious knack for making dumb/simple lines come off perfectly -- his verse on Corporate Thuggin' is the perfect self-explanation of his style.
3028684, The Recession is a CLASSIC album.

Maybe 2 weak joints near the front of album.
Once you get to track 5, the rest is non skippable.
Even the Trey Songz joint is worth listening to.

Bunch of soul sample chops on the album.
Great production.

Jeezy sounds inspired. Actually Raps instead of his usual one liner style.

Didn't help that when Jeezy came out (2005ish) I was in my peak backpacker / anti-mainstream / hip hop is dead phase that, but around the summer this album dropped (I think Game's LAX album dropped around the same time) I started to stop being such a snob and get into all the popular rap that I was sleeping on.

America has imported more warlord theocracy from Afghanistan than it has exported democracy.
