3027732, Any thoughts on these two new Stevie Wonder songs?

I didn't see any posts on them, so I figured I would ask.

Can't Put It In the Hands of Fate (feat. Rapsody, Chike, Cordae, and Busta Rhymes):

Where Is Our Love Song (feat. Gary Clark, Jr.):

I prefer "Where Is Our Love Song" a lot more than the other cut. Neither one is at his classic level, of course.

Does anyone know if he's supposed to be dropping an album soon or are these just a couple of joints strictly made for the times we're in?

Stevie is great on this - I'd definitely listen to the (NO RAP) radio edit of this. The beats a little too generic Go Go. Drop the rapping - it's weak compared to Stevie. I still support this.

This is good. I'd like to hear it properly mastered and on a good system. The only thing I can say that's not perfect is some of the lines don't fit within the structure and he rushes them in , specifically:
"Not a love song between you and I
But a song that will test the universe to the Heaven's eye"

Man, do I love Stevie Wonder.

Can't Put It In The Hands of Fate is the Conversation Peace era Stevie sound... just kinda sound like an outtake from it. As a big fan of that album, I don't mind it. I actually kinda like it.

Where Is Our Love Song is a nice song as well.

I don't know, but I'd guess this is for the moment, since Stevie always did seem to consider it his duty make music around pressing social issues. If there's a new album though, I'll support purely on the strength of it being Stevie.

3027742, surprised he turned his public cussin' into a lyric.

3027764, I refuse to listen to the first track. Second one isn't bad.

I mean this is Stevie so even the shit on the bottom of his shoe is better than most people.

God bless and protect Stevie Wonder
3027767, they need to remove the shitty raps from that joint....

Stevie made what is essentially a posse cut, over a go-go beat, with a conscious message: he literally brought '88 back! 😂💜

America has imported more warlord theocracy from Afghanistan than it has exported democracy.
