I also don't agree that Dre is overhyped. There's a reason Daz and other in-house producers who worked with him didn't do shit after they broke from Dre. And this is coming from someone who loves Daz and agrees that he's prolly a bit underrated. But I don't think he's anywhere near Dre level genius.

Battlecat and Quik tho deserve way more props than they get. And Warren G while we're on the subject. But Quik is a guy who is probably as talented as any producer in hip hop history but who sits in the shadow of Dre for whatever reasons.
