Third Man Records’ Ben Blackwell says the
destruction of Apollo Masters’ California facility
“will present a problem for the vinyl industry worldwide”

will probably be okay. It usually takes like 8-12 weeks to press vinyl, so they would've needed to have the lacquer by now for things due to release in the first quarter or two of the year. It will probably be the things scheduled to drop in the second half and going forward will that are most affected. There a few other ways to press vinyl without using the lacquer and a plant in Canada came out and said they won't be affected.

Still though, this sucks. It's been a rough couple years for vinyl.
3022089, good point.
