He had his chance on the Joe Budden Podcast and he decided not to get into it. After hearing both sides...it seems to me that Phonte and Pooh was spot on. '

No Little Brother album exists with 9th Producing the entire thing...not one...The Listening wasn't fully produced by 9th and neither was The Minstrel Show...

Phonte said he wanted 9th to send him the same stuff that he sends everybody.

I mean...Phonte and Pooh made every effort to make this work. I think 9th's refusal to let other producers produce the album made it tough. That's a precedent that never was set in the group. It was looking like the last time they did an album together. Halfway through The Minstrel Show, 9th wasn't there. And if it was going to be like that, I don't blame them. 9th never toured with the group.

9th could have cleared the air. He made the decision not to. And that's his right. Joe Budden tried to get it out of him but it didn't happen. They even told 9th that they were disappointed he wasn't on it. And then they listened to the album and it was great.
