the new one is GORGEOUS.
holy shit.
at that fucking intro: https://youtu.be/SnBR8WzqoCM.
blew my fucking socks lol.
somehow the Fooeys sound got even more amplified.
and i'm lovin the spacey effects n shit with Dave's voice.
some of my fav Foo joints have Dave doin somethin freaky to his vocals.

they released a short animated making of for the album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTeDhSypRgY.

the guest features on this thing are unreal.

It’s cool because my son LOVES the Foo Fighters and it was the first album I went with him and bought for him.

And while I don’t necessarily dislike anything on the album, it feels a bit disjointed.

Two of the softer joints Dirty Water and Happy Ever After are cool and have some great arrangements but they both just feel out of place to me for some reason.

Same could be said for Sunday Rain. It just kind of drags.

The three singles are clearly the best on the album and will add to their second greatest hits album.

Run is one of my favorite songs they’ve ever done.

Arrows is the best of the non-singles to me.

Make It Right and La Dee Da are cool but somewhat “ehh” to me.

The title track is a bit underwhelming as well.

So yeah, this is cool and will hold a place due to my son loving them but it doesn’t come close to Shape and Colour or Wasting Light to me.

Gave it one solid listen but foresee many more spins in the future.

Sounds very fresh.
