I am just curious about something.

So I've gotten to the point where I've heard enough music albums but I am wondering why the album projects still get released and then when you listen to the album there are no pre-intro, intro, or outro type of parts or tracks. Or there is no audio that brings you in to the album first before the first song.

Or even this? I wonder why some albums fade out at the end and stuff,


....like there isn't something in the audio that closes the project.

I don't want to name any albums yet but yeah I'm just wondering.


It's seems like projects get rushed out.


Anyone wondering about the same thing?

Intros, skits and outros are a pet peeve for me. I don't usually wanna hear any of that - just get to it already! If the album's opening song is good enough it will set a tone and get me into the album. I don't need or want an intro really.

Anyway - go back and look at older albums especially outside Hip Hop. You'll find formalized intro tracks are rare.
