Actually...my point goes beyond Janis' trolling post of that Joni quote that basically threw shade and said dude wasn't a genius...It wasn't that Joni simply said Prince wasn't a genius...She implied that he jacked Sly Stone...That's a straight bitch slap....lol

Then years later, Joni says Prince is her favorite artist among the many that have viewed her as a major influence....

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that her views on Prince evolved significantly over the years....
