Okay, if I'm going to get only one chance at this, then I want to take it back home by shining the spotlight on an old Hawaiian rock duo called Cecilio & Kapono. Signed to Columbia Records for three albums in the 1970's, they were considered to be Hawai'i's version of Hall & Oates, Seals & Croft, England Dan & John Ford Coley, etc.

If only one song can be played by them, go for:
"Sunflower"

Then just go down the line
"Someday" (be sure to have the countermelody played by the string section in there, as that is an important part of the song)

"I Am The Other Man"

"Sailin'"

"Feelin' Just The Way I Do (Over You)" (had Nicole Scherzinger ever appeared on LATE NIGHT or THE TONIGHT SHOW, I always wanted to request this song for her, specifically the funky part that begins at the 2:48 mark, courtesy of percussionist Bobbye Hall, bassist Leland Sklar, and drummer Russ Kunkle. Anyone with that deep of a connection to Hawai'i will know exactly why so if she'll never make the show, I'll take it as a song to hear Fallon walk to the desk.

For me, it's a chance to honor a group who has been a part of my life pretty much forever. I'll be nerdy, eclectic and eccentric any other time but this one means something to me.
