normally i dont pander to the obvious stuff with guests.

i pander to the project that they are promoting ("Bush")

or if its someone with a silly career reference i might throw it in there (think like michael j fox getting "johnny b good" for a back to the future reference)

if the project they are pushing doesn't yield a clever song i just might play on their name (i'd do "Linus and Lucy" from Peanuts for the Snoop reference)

only if none of those work out will i reference someone's actual work (if its an actor that was once on a sitcom like Clooney i might do "the facts of life" as a reminder he did this 30 years ago) or jack black's student film project from last week
