I've noticed that for a long time the reason why most crappy music end up selling is because it's trendy & terrible music out there for them to consume regardless of replay value or quality of the music/lyrics.

Radio is owned by labels & corporations and whatever they play they listen to & like, some could careless if the artist their listening to is white, black, lame, or a culture rapist.
