since his argument doesn't seem more the case that Iggy is actually "good", but the shitting on a segment of black folk I'm not even sure are really on her "radar" is missing the point. it just seems like painting with the wide brush.
I definitely think it's a generational thing. I have more of an issue with T.I.'s defenses of her (and some of the positions she takes in reaction to the blowback she gets) than I actually have her act (I think elements of it are wack, but not enough to really "care" about it), as he should know better; then again, I totally understand why he is doing it... they are still reminiscent of Pharrell's non-/vaguely musical activities as of late.
