rock and roll has a pretty shameful history on terms
of black ppl not getting credit for what they created.

but that history is based on white pop consumers not knowing
where the music was coming from, and black folks not being able to
profit off of their art.

that's not the case with modern white acts.
everybody knows JT got his thing from MJ.
it's clear iggy didn't invent rap.

black music is so big that it's tough to argue anybody doing it is a culture vulture.


still, i get why ppl feel ___ about iggy.
especially if they know a little about music history.

i just think they're misguided
