Toronto jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD have announced a new album called Sour Soul that features Ghostface Killah on every song. It'll be out February 17 in the U.S. and February 16 internationally via Lex; that's the cover above. Below, listen to "Gunshowers", which features Elzhi and appears on the record.
Earlier this year, the two parties teamed with Danny Brown for "Six Degrees", which will also appear on the LP. The album was produced by Frank Dukes (Danny Brown, 50 Cent).

Are these new Ghost verses or is this strictly a remix only project over old verses?

2906133, LP, not EP Posted by squeeg, Sun Oct-19-14 04:10 PM
"Gunshowers" sounds like something off the El Michaels Affair 'Enter the 37th Chamber'. Not mad at it. It's nice to hear Ghost rhyming on beat to live instrumentation, after the disappointment of 'Twelve Reasons to Die'.

I loved Adrian Younge's production on the original. If anything, it was Ghost who sounded a bit uninspired with the lyrics & delivery imo.

Aside from the operatic singing, I liked Younge's production. I think the problem stems from a lack of synergy between the vocals and music. Ghost was mostly off beat, and seemed to struggle with the storyline.
Somehow, he comes off better on 'The Brown Tape'. I'm not sure if Apollo Brown tweaked the vocals to make them mesh better with the beats, but the remix album makes a better overall impression than the original.
