MAKONNEN is DOPE!
Has anyone explored his music and videos apart from Tuesday?
He has great production along with a unique voice and lyrics that vary from intensely romantic to jovial.
He also sings some soulful shit. His pitch may not be perfect, but his voice has a Jimi Hendrix/Bob Dylan semi shitty/awesome quality to it.
Aint been this hype on an artist in a minute.
His affiliate "Father" (look up fatheraintshit to find him on Soundcloud, IG whatever) is also super dope.
These kids are coming hard w/ some music that sounds different!
This is the type of shit I used to find out about on The Lesson.

Apparently Makonnen has been signed to Mike Will this entire time and finally came up w/ Tuesday.

It definitely pops off...
There is a Dj reflex drum remix that has harder drums but the Drake version goes..
Let's be real though.. it's a Drake song with an ilovemakonnen hook. i've never played anything past the hook following drakes verse.
