2903522, man, the mix is a big problem for me as well.

I was wondering if it maybe was just the leak and it'll sound
better on vinyl and the mp3 codes that come with the vinyl??

On first listen, I was just so excited to hear a new album
by my fav artist. But after repeated listens, I'm feeling like
I've got some of the same problems you've got: the Thundercat
runs, the FlyLo drum patterns are like you said, predictable...

That was ehat originally attracted me to him so much, his drum
work was just so different from anything I'd heard. Now?
A lot sounds the same. And speaking of sounding the same...
I feel like some of the songs sound very similar.

As far as the vocals, the 4LP comes with instrumentals.
Hoping to hear what's under those vocals more clearly with the
instrumental album version.

Hoping the leak isn't the audio quality we'll get on the physical
release and mp3 codes but not sure - people said it was 320.

And dunno if Lo sampled whatever Bruner laid down on the drums
but you're right - sound muddy, there's no pop to them.

Hey, took me over a year to come around on UTQC...
We'll see with this one. I love the direction he went.

BUT! I did expect to hear more FlyLo signature work mixed in with
the Thundercat, live drummers, guitar work, Kamasi on sax, etc though.

DADDY KEV mixed this album, he's mixed all the FlyLo records,
a little FY for those that maybe wanted to know and didn't.

Would love to hear your thoughts again after you've sat with it some more.
