who knows I'd have to hear it first
>Is there a specific sound you'd like to see him strive for? > no. I let artist do them, and I voice my opinion on its quality on here or other online places
>Were you the guy on here who thought Cosmogramma >was the greatest thing since sliced bread? No shots... >Just asking. I know somebody on here thought it was the >future of electronic music (SO DID I) then blasted him when he >put >out pattern and grid world EP.
nope. I think that was All_Stah. does he even post here anymore. I love Cosmogramma. it's a classic to me, just like Los Angeles was. I never heard the Pattern=Grid EP. UTQC was too meandering and "pretty" IMO
>I love UTQC and CosmoG. I hope this album is a little bit >rougher around the edges and coloring outside the lines more. >UTQC has a real clean sound.
true
I appreciate it because it was >different for him. We were used to a wall of sound calibrated >just right that it wasn't overbearing and just straight up NOT >WORKING.
okay. I wouldn't call Lotus' efforts wall of sound. maybe collage of sounds. El-P is more wall of sound IMO
>I hope You're Dead flirts with that again. >Push it to the limit to where it almost feels like >its all about to fall apart, but then it just sits there >in this wonderful groove, running on all cylinders. > I wouldn't mind that either. but as some one said above, I wouldn't mind more "beat-tapey" shit either
