Spins = radio term

And loads of songs that arguably fit particularly the second of those categories have gotten spins.

Even if you mean spins to mean playing in your house (which isn’t where the term comes from), a lot of people have personal classics where either the beat or lyrics outshine one another. Off the top of my head, Tried by 12 comes immediately to mind. On the other side of the coin, I won’t be listening to the instrumental to Remain Anonymous any time soon (although I think the beat is decent enough in the context of the song).
