I'm not mad to see them get paid and I know they would've made much less by going through a distributor.

But hasn't Wu-Tang built their brand on authenticity, respect, and making music from the heart. They've also clowned other artists for commercial ventures. And Wu-Tang is for the children right?

Again, I'd like to see them rewarded for their product, but this seems very contradictory to some of the principles that they stood on so I could definitely understand why some fans and members of the group aren't cool with this.

But on the other hand, maybe RZA has other reasons for doing this and just has yet to disclose them. Maybe this is all for publicity. Still, this seems inconsistent with the Wu-Tang brand.
