the thing is this thing can't really start a trend because most artists don't have that "edge" for a lack of better term like Wu-tang does. And I don't think Wu-tang or the RZA can do this too many times after this, or even maybe one more time after this.

for those artists who do set off something special in the music world, those artists SHOULD do something like this.

because....

We've had over a decade of the "fans" glorifying "free" music. There should be those "special" bands who get a BIG payday from some rich person(s) who be willing to pay for something "exclusive". This should be done because "fans" have rejoiced that music seemingly "has NO value (financially)" (or doesn't have the value music once had).

But it won't be that much of a trend because it confuses (or might confuse) whether the artist will lose all rights to the music on the LP and then the artists might start crying about the person who bought the exclusive LP licensing the music in all sorts of embarassing situations/contexts - some artists won't want that to possibly happen.
