Actually, this is pretty smart...especially if the buyer of the CD gains the rights to resell it.
If it were to sell at 5 million, the Wu gets paid up front...and the buyer could resell a double
album digitally at $17. If the buyer sells 300,000 copies, he/she breaks even...which is possible
due to Wu's core fan base plus all of the hype generated from the media. Crazy as it sounds...
not only could this work, BUT I could see other artists potentially trying to do the same thing...
