The idea being smart or dumb has absolutely nothing to do with your opinion or my opinion on the idea.

An idea is directly related to an objective.

Since neither of is know what RZA's true objective is here we really can't say if it's smart or dumb at all.

If his objective is to sell as many copies as possible, then releasing only 1 album would in fact be dumb.

But let's say that his objective is to increase the value of his art. Supply and demand 101 would say that this is a smart idea if he can achieve his goal, which it seems as though he will.

Furthermore, your issue with a piece of music costing a million dollars is directly related to the way you've been programmed throughout your life. You're used to music costing X amount of dollars therefore your myopic view won't allow you to see a side in which someone should be charging more than what you are acustomed to.

Also, if you truly think it's a dumb idea, your pointless anger should be aimed at the person who actually purchases the album and not RZA. Why the fuck do you care what he's doing?

Do you think it's dumb for someone to sell a painting for 1 million dollars or do you think the person who purchases the painting is crazy because you yourself wouldn't spend that amount of money?

Either way you look at it, to call the idea dumb is what I find dumb.
