but it's an anomaly unlike most of the Roots material.
Would love for these guys to jam it out on some rock/funk/soul/hip hop
just a balls to the wall type album..
I know the Roots tend to be more sophisticated but they still can be snobby and fun..

Agreed. Kirk basically steals the show (live)...but is always taking a backseat on the albums and is never featured like he could be...
Would loooooooove and kill for a straight jam album like they did on 6music /bbc years ago...
