I taped it, wrote it down on notebook paper and memorized it. I remember my pops found the folded up sheet of notebook paper and confronted me with it. He was like "since when you start playing around with fuckin guns?". I always thought that was funny, because he completely skipped over the "on my last album cover" part. As if I had somehow managed to record an album while in grade school, lol.
