Billy Crystal - "Sweet Freedom" by Michael McDonald from RUNNING SCARED
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-xetxYwyak

One of my favorite Billy movies.

Evan Rachel Wood - "Would? by Alice in Chains

"Oscar Opening Song" - Billy Crystal
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daKq-LQobok (starts at 06:07)

(the first of his infamous Oscar opening medleys- "Its a wonderful night for Oscar/Oscar Oscar. . .")

evan rachel wood:
"Ugly" - Bubba Sparxx
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trd49Da0gf0

(In her breakthrough movie "Thirteen", there is a scene where her mother confronts her about a new belly ring. During the argument, ERW's character get's in her mom's face and says "How else can I say it? I don't speak no other languages." Which comes directly from this song. Lyric starts at about 1:37 in the above video)

Billy Crystal
"Frere Jacques"
http://youtu.be/GgoPpx6h-98?t=1h7m56s
REASON: This is from the basic cable classic, RABBIT TEST. I requested this before, and this turns the song into a doo-wop anti-classic, partly because there are a number of racist elements throughout this film and this segment is no exception. It would also be somewhat of a BAMBOOZLED moment, but it digs deep into a movie starring Crystal that people tend to don't remember or try to forget.

Evan Rachel Wood
Canned Heat's "Going Up The Country"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTsmDeXVmrE
REASON: Not sure if she's there for it, but she stars in CHARLIE COUNTRYMAN.

Or if you want to take it back to its true blues origins:

Mariah Carey
Melonie Daniels' "Half And Half (Theme Song)"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qW-5_UFh_ow
REASON: Because of her mixed ethnicity, and someone like Carey would be considered "half and half". I can say this, because I'm a sixth and sixth and sixth and sixth and sixth and sixth" (and most likely a few others).

Malcolm Gladwell
Melonie Daniels' "Half And Half (Theme Song)"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qW-5_UFh_ow
REASON: Why not, let's make it a double shot of the same song.

whoops, some one already suggested "I'm So Glad."

So, instead.

"Ten Thousand Hours" - Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEr5H4E4r3I

Malcolm Gladwell
"Tip the Scale"
Seeing as how he's the author of The Tipping Point...and yeah, maybe it'd make more sense to do something off that album, but "Tip the Scale" is a more literal reference and it's never a bad thing to hear more Undun songs on national television.

Ice-T
Chris "The Glove" Taylor & David Torres' "Tibetan Jam"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwWuHE6o6As
REASON: BREAKIN' will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in May, which of course is still six months away. Not sure if Ice-T will appear on Fallon before the jump to THE TONIGHT SHOW so I'll suggest this.

ALTERNATE PICK:
Ice-T's "The Coldest Rap (Part 1)"

Musique's "In The Bush"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0NXaeoiEKs
REASON: In honor of his mustache, change the lyric to:
"push, push, in the mush
push, push, in the mush
push, push, in the mush
You know I want to get down"

It may be somewhat homoerotic, which is not my point in suggesting this but... I'll suggest it anyway. Plus, the bassline during the bridge reminds me of the theme to MAGNUM PI.
