Monsta Beatz produced.

I like it on first listen but I think it might be a grower.
2848701, legitimate shocker.

2848702, how so?
Posted by mrshow, Thu Oct-17-13 12:09 AM
2848724, Fiend and Juvenile was one thing. I never expected Curren$y to look back like this tho.

like this though.

He was treated like a piece of lint at Cash Money even if his mixtape presence was relevant at the time.

It's a shock in a belated way, but man. There's a reason he started hitting old school jazz beats the moment he left and throwing small but notable shade.

2848726, he's had another track with Wayne in recent times..

He also has said he never had any bad blood with Cash Money.. Unlike most ppl he got out of his contract and came up BC he made proper investments (his auto/rims shop, etc) so still had money to put out his mixtapes.

2848830, what a n*gga gotta do to break through? do i gotta record a verse in autotune too?
Posted by wrecknoble, Thu Oct-17-13 11:43 AM
autotune too? Let me stay away from that, before n*ggas misconstrue it and label this a diss track, this is just facts, Spitta snap like a slim Jim, you just realizing that I'm that n*gga? Homeboy, I been him..

He makes it pretty clear on "The Explanation" that he's not trying to diss but just get his own dues
2848732, He said he was always cool with MacK Maine...

so Im guessing the little beef there was got squashed quickly. I think the last song they did together was on Verde Terrace. Let's hope Monsta Beatz starts giving Wayne beats now.
2848812, you think his window is closing and he had to make a

business decision?

I'm not familiar with his story, but it sounds like he's trying to eat
2848856, Spitta does very well for himself
Posted by Mash_Comp, Thu Oct-17-13 12:35 PM
He doesn't need YMCMB at all.
2848896, he could quit rapping right now and cake off his auto shop.

2848907, Pretty mutually beneficial
Posted by mrshow, Thu Oct-17-13 01:42 PM
Curren$y gets a shot at radio play while Weezy distracts people from the songs he did with Paris Hilton and Limp Bizkit.
2848807, WHO is this Monsta Beats.. he got a catalog of some heat.
