I can't front, I'm proud that Rapsody is from NC like me. She is a product of very hard work. People had a lot of doubt several years ago but she never stopped. After several mixtapes, a very nice debut album The Idea of Beautiful and most recently the She Got Game mixtape with DJ Drama, she has made her way. Tonight she will spit with the fellas on the BET awards. She has gained respect and done tracks with at least 20 mc's who have done well in hip hop (2-3 are legends)..Yes, 9th Wonder has pushed and promoted the hell out of her but that's his artist. That is what you suppose to do. Ok...question time..

I'm from Columbia, SC but went to college in Greensboro so anybody that is with 9th, Phonte, or Big Pooh i look out for....

Yeah I have...I have some of her mixtapes. She Got Game is arguably one of the best releases this year in my opinion.

She is one of the best rappers out period...not just FEMALE...period...

The Female MC is an endangered species. She has the potential to be a respected MC in the business but in this environment, it's tough to get to Nicki Minaj status if you get my drift....

Her and Tariq would crush a 9th Wonder beat. Jay-Z, Nas, and K.Dot...

I hope she gets noticed tonight at the BET Cypher. And I hope she murks everybody in her cypher. The hip hop is missing the pure female MC in the mainstream and hopefully she can fill that void.

Yes. I have her album, mix tape, etc.

She's great. I like her more personal songs...she can rap circles around most female rappers and lots of the guys too.

Yes. Although I think she needs to develop more as an artist. Also, I think it's hard(er) for female artists with BS like Nicki minaj, etc. i.e.. it's hard to be taken seriously as a female artist without resorting to twerking and shit.

Shit. she's doing pretty good on the guest front. Common and her are a good match.

noting about her makes me want to be a fan. there's nothing wrong with her, she just doesn't impress me for some reason.

1) Ive heard most of the stuff she done w. Jamla, catalogue deep... Lots of treasures in there...

2) I think she´s a dope emcee, equally confident and laidback in delivery, lyrics have got depth and personality to me, and she can still bring it on the represent rappityrap circuit...

3) She a star to me.

4) Id actually want more of her work with Amp to be released, maybe even a one emcee/producer album...
