Ok.

Mclaren and Run DMC and Whodini......last hip hop bought: G-Dep...

so this is official-stuck-in-the-past perspective

..........eh

not really anything worth considering....barely adequate...pale retread of some usual stuff

Many of us have tried with
Ab Soul, eXquire, Earl, Bronson, Zombies, Chance, The Underachievers ect.

They either ignore or derail with some shit about about how its nothing new blah blah blah. Fools on this board even go at Kendrick (it's even worse in GD)

This song is nice as hell BTW. Domo and Hodgy def did a good thing to link up cause neither can really hold a solo all the way through. To trade bars with each other over good to great beats is a win for both of them
2847430, the whole purpose of the post was for us to tell him our view

so........why try to discourage it?

He obviously wanted to know

People will want to know things from time to time

Cool little early 90s Southern California melodic smoked out shit, I wish they could take songs like these & merge them with the verses when someone actually kills a set of bars, as a few of em can but too often over beats/songs that don't measure up.

I agree an old head should dig this because honestly this is a pure throwback, woulda hit harder if Domino was singing the hook and Del/Casual did the bars.

But shit if mad old heads are in that Pusha T post claiming the first six joints of that are fire (including duets with Dream, Chris Brown, somebody else warbling in between indistinguishable Pusha T verses but then somehow claiming 'Nosestalgia' is a skipper just because Kendrick's on it then they'll never be able to change what comes out their speaker.

This shit indeed *sounds* good regardless for the 2:30 it's on.

I'm still waiting for Odd Future to collectively total a full album length playlist of undeniable joints since they started for my tastes.

This & Dontcha are prolly the two most recent additions.

But so far they've been more about moments & a movement than truly memorable songs or great albums.

I ain't mad at em tho, I just moved onto TDE for that kinda stuff while I'll still check these kids out with lowered expectations.
2847498, Nice song, but this is about 2 years too late

Buzz is gone, they are basically a thrasher group for rich kids to
act dumb at concert

Most of the albums have been mediocre

Wolf and Doris are two of the best rap releases this year.

There's something about most new rap that's missing the literary wit old the classic rap that some of hold so dear.

Some of us still think of Biggie as a new jack.
