Cameo had about 2-3 strong albums, RIck had 4 and stronger hit songs and also stronger album tracks and prime to prime RIck tore that butt up period.

no nothing hating bunch of turkeys crack me up, Bigger Star? dude this ain't like Lionel RIchie versus Kool and the gang who each crossed over.

this is a R&B Artist against a R&B band where they both were in a segregated era and time and whose funk hit the hardest. James Brown, George Clinton, Little RIchard all spoke of how important Rick's music was and how it broke through,etc.. Cameo never had that kind of "IT" moment unless you say Word up? and that was more because of that song than the actual album

"Aligator Woman" was Cameo's peak and prime album.

they had very good songs, however they never had the big hits RIck had and lets remember Rick stayed R&B with his period.

Blackmon is more remembered for the high top fade and the red cod piece than anything else.

Hammer hit with Rick's stuff because it was top shelf material period.

and Chappelle hit on a aspect of Rick's larger than life persona however again RIck still had the material. nobody goes back on Cameo like that.

Beyonce>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> badu and it ain't close. and I can't even get with Beyonce's solo career too tough, however badu ain't mattered in 13 years and never got any better. Badu can't carry Beyonce's Hot Iron Comb ok?
