2845981, To me...

There r several debates going on...I can't go into who was better because that would be unfair pitting a solo artist (Rick) against an entire band (Cameo)....Yeah, yeah..Larry was pulling Cameo's strings....And he was the lead songwriter and producer, but he still allowed more input from his bandmates...

And as stated, Rick was the bigger star at his peak...

But when it comes to album runs, that's a different story....

Rick---Good to Great albums:

Come Get It! (with the Stone City Band) (1978)
Bustin' Out of L Seven (1979)
Street Songs (1981)
Throwin' Down (1982)
Cold Blooded (1983) (the weakest of the bunch...But the title track is classic shit)...

Cameo--Good to Great albums:

We All Know Who We Are (1980)
Secret Omen (1979)
Cameosis (1980)
Feel Me (1980)
Knights of the Sound Table (1981)
She's Strange (1984)
Single Life (1985)
Word Up! (1986)

Cameo had the more consistent album run...

Rick was the bigger star though....
