Normally though? I think it's because a few things. The "Soft" meme plays a big part. The fact that he was a child actor is another. It makes the internet play the "authenticity" card.

But for me? Reason I react so strongly is because I genuinely like dude and think he can spit, but wish he would stop thinking he's an R&B singer. I want him to rip on the mic and hit me with them bars that make me go "Awwwwwww damn." I want cuts I can spin when I DJ and people can get into, not ambient odes to strippers he tried to save. Those songs are cool too, but I get bummed out that those jams outweigh the tracks where he just goes. I guess....

....I'm just sayin' he could do better.
