g-funk was sociopathic easy listening.
took everything that was hard, rebellious, and fun about parliament-funkadelic
and removed it. it was the hip hop equilivant of Kenny G.

what's worse, it was omnipresent in a way MIA never was.
and it tricked millions of people into believing
it was an update of george clinton's sound.


MIA could never compare.
and anyway, i played that first MIA album a few weeks ago at the gym.
it knocked, as far as i'm concerned.
